The garden (a work in progress)

Rain, then sun, then rain, then sun - dang grass won't stop growing

Ivy, anyone?
This is where my vege patch will be (once the pear tree is cut down)
New park bench, and my first attempt to mow the lawn

And still more ivy
To the dump (220kg of green rubbish - no kidding!)

Doesn't that look better

Some of the junk left behind

Plants and shrubs ready to be put into the garden

The conservatory might be ugly, but it makes a great greenhouse

The compost bin that I found under a pile of ivy - score!

Half-way through clearing down the side of the house
Nearly clear - next the dastardly roundup

The first month

My bedroom is super sunny
Not enough room in the closet for all my shoes!

The study

The guest bedroom

Thank you Stacey and Mike, for the loan of your couches

Moving Day

Moving day was a brilliant success.  Thanks to everyone who helped out - Jason for towing the big trailer, and Greg for helping him load and manoeuvre it, Di for directing and organising everyone (and their varying views of how things should be done), Simon and Mel for their trailers, Abby for testing out the park, Jeremy for being Jeremy and Bethan for co-ordinating everything including feeding the workers at the new house.

What with the many boxes that had to be moved, not to mention dealing with a house full of smells and signs of how long it had been a rental property, it's taken some time to be able to download the shots from move in day.  Apologies for that.
The lounge (those windows to the left will one day be bi-fold doors onto a deck, with any luck!)

The dining area, with kitchen to the left (and the spare room full of boxes!)

Another glimpse into the box filled spare room, with the first sight of Bethan the legendary cleaning friend (in my bedroom)

The kitchen & the safely delivered royal fridge

My room, with the spare bed (story for another day)

My room again

Bethan, with her awesome vacuum cleaner - what a brilliant support she was, as was Mum & Nao to get the house cleaned and smelling a bit fresher.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some photos taken this weekend, of how things are looking now so check back again soon.
